Meet Our Instructor
Frederique Bruell
PGA Golf Instructor
Frederique Bruell is a PGA professional and has competed on the junior, high school, collegiate, amateur and professional levels of competitive golf. Some highlights from her amateur career include being the captain of the 2009 Elon University Women’s Golf Team, qualifying for the 2009 USGA Women’s State Team Championship and qualifying for the 2010 Women’s US Public Links Amateur Championship. Frederique won the 2008 Ohio Women’s State Amateur Championship, the 2007 Cleveland Women’s Golf Association Championship and the 2009 Cleveland Women’s Golf Association Championship. Frederique was a Symetra Tour member in 2013 & 2017, and has competed on the former Suncoast Tour (now known as the NWGA Eggland’s Best Ladies Professional Golf Tour).
Frederique’s instructional approach to coaching and skill development is unique as the focus is on ensuring that the setup fundamentals: grip, stance, alignment, ball position and posture are in place for all skills. Students will develop a fundamentally sound club delivery pattern enabling them to hit the ball with as much power and control as possible. Once these patterns have been established, each student learns how to play the game on the course utilizing effective course management, mental game skills, strategy and the art of scoring. Frederique invests in each of her students and is always willing to do whatever it takes to see her students succeed. Her goal is that students will learn to hit the ball farther, more consistently, shoot lower scores and have more fun!
